To uphold the integrity of Leading Clinic Certification, applicants must provide documentation verifying credentials, safety history, and operational excellence; ensuring every certified clinic meets rigorous standards for patient care, ethics, and long-term commitment to excellence.
Safety
Patient safety is the foundation of WLC certification. We ask for documents that confirm your providers are licensed, your clinic is compliant with regulations, and that you uphold the highest standards of care. If you already hold external accreditations, these can also be submitted to strengthen your application.
Required documents may include:
- Copies of valid medical licenses for providers
- Records showing compliance with health and workplace regulations
- Malpractice history (showing no recent judgments or settlements)
- External accreditation from recognized healthcare bodies
Patient Experience
The patient journey is central to our evaluation. We review your clinic’s online presence and supplement this with a mystery shop so we can see the experience through a patient’s perspective. This ensures certification reflects both public perception and real-world interactions.
Required documents may include:
- Verified patient reviews
- Agreement to participate in a WLC-administered mystery shop
Financial Health
Strong and stable clinics are best positioned to deliver long-term excellence. We request basic financial information that confirms your clinic’s performance, growth, and resilience compared to industry benchmarks.

- Top line revenue from the last two years
- Evidence of year-over-year revenue growth
Culture & Training
