Plastic Surgeon
Juan Quintero, MD is a plastic surgeon at CaloAesthetics Plastic Surgery Center and CaloSpa Rejuvenation Center, where he joined Dr. Calobrace in June 2023. He has been performing plastic surgery in Louisville since 2007, specializing in facial plastic surgery, breast surgery, and body contouring procedures with extensive experience in nonsurgical rejuvenation. He is known for his meticulous technique, artistic eye, and calm, compassionate approach.
Dr. Quintero graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Science in biology and earned his medical degree magna cum laude from the University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine. He completed his surgical training at Tulane University Medical Center and his plastic surgery residency at the University of Louisville School of Medicine. A past president of the Kentucky Society of Plastic Surgeons, he is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons and the Kentucky Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. He received the Top Plastic Surgeon Award in 2013 and the Most Compassionate Doctor award from 2011 to 2013, along with the John W. Price Award for Excellence in Teaching Medical Students. He has participated in mission trips to Ecuador and the Philippines, providing cleft lip and palate repair for children.
